Unexpected wheel/car combo: E36 Compact on Firebird snowflakes. Looks pretty good (ignore all the stickers).

Oh yeah I take this bad boy to the track so much I just leave my tow point attached all the time. My drift machine is pumping out about 138hp to the rear wheels and pretty soon I'll have a cage in it for all those sick drifts I do with 138hp.

I know a ton of guys that have these tow hooks, even though the only racing they do is weekends at the drag strip. Gotta watch out for that pesky kitty litter along the quarter mile.

For his part, the owners does list "328 engine" as one of the mods, so he might be pushing 160+. Drift machine #yo.

Those wheel actually look pretty good, too bad about the stretched tires. Imagine the same wheels with a full-width tire and slight, smooth sidewall bulge. It would look amazing.
Add in some thick white lettering...
Mmmmm... racing tires.

I approve. I also approve of e28s on Corvette salad spinners. Yay for 5x4.75 hubcentrics.
However I do not approve of bagging e28s.

I get your point but seriously if you're just starting the drifting hobby you don't necessarily need more than about 200hp, some weight savings and well sorted suspension.

Well, if you have to stance an e28 you might as well bag it instead of ruining it with static suspension.

Yea, I'm not an Orthodox Purist (see GM wheels love), but personally very much not a stance guy.

Dat rake doe. I'm thinking billy sports front and back, with lowering springs on front only. The tires dip under the rear wheel well stock anyway.

I know I'm in the stance liking minority here (still wouldn't own static stanced car).

well at least they took the time to hammer out the fender lips properly... And clean the grass out of the break in spoiler before the picture.

hang on... bmws don't have 5x 4.75... do they?
older jaguars have that pattern, and the only wheels i could find with the same were other jags, and some GMs, like the corvette, camaro, caprice, etc.
(also, never heard these referred to as salad spinners, but that's awesome)

Most (at least older) BMWs are 5x120 which is so close to 5x4.75" that you can run them without spacers, but spacers are recommended.
